Did you hear? National Cinema Day is this weekend! At select theaters around the US, you can score movie tickets for $4. Over 3000 theaters are participating and many are even offering discounts on concessions. Head to the official National Cinema Day website to find an eligible screening near you.

Excited for the Nightwing movie? We’ve got some bad news for you. After being stuck in 5 years of development, Warner Bros. has announced that the live-action Nightwing movie has been canceled. However, you might not have seen the last of Nightwing.

In the midst of the writers’ strike, many industry workers are struggling to cover basic living expenses. But the Entertainment Community Fund is working hard to bridge the gap. The fund has distributed more than $4.7 million in financial aid to over 2,300 film and TV workers. If you are an industry worker in need of financial assistance, you can apply here.
